Who is PROFESSOR DOCTOR SİNAN TOZOĞLU


Education and Academic Experiences:

Professor Dr. Sinan Tozoglu started his undergraduate education at the Faculty of Dentistry of Atatürk University in 1993 after successful primary and high school years. He graduated as a dentist in 1998, started to work as a research assistant in the field of Oral, Dental and Chin Surgery at the same university and completed his doctorate in 2004. He was appointed as an assistant professor in the same year and continued his academic life by becoming an associate professor. Atatürk University, Faculty of Dentistry, Bologna coordinator, Erasmus and Mevlana programs, such as many inland has done academic duties. Dr.Tozoğlu, who was appointed as the dean of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Akdeniz University in 2011, has also been the Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has worked in many coordinators with the Senate membership of the Akdeniz University.

In addition to a large number of dental students, he also gave training and counseling to the assistants of Oral, Dental and Chin Surgery.

He has made numerous high-level publications in national and international journals, and many of these publications have received references. Scientific journals are members of the editorial board and continue to serve as arbitrators.

He has made presentations as a guest speaker at many national and international scientific organizations.

It has been found in hundreds of transplants that include teeth and jaws from our surgeries in our country and in the world.

Implantology continues to work in areas such as the applicability of implant treatments for bone defects, rapid osseointegration of implants, and bone grafts.

Embedded teeth and other dentoalveolar processes,

Non-surgical treatments for jaw joint (TMJ) diseases, application of arthroscopic and advanced surgeons,

Surgical assisted treatment of orthognathic surgery and chin mismatches,

Jaw cysts,

Jaw tumors,

Jaw fractures and plaques that may resurface,

Accelerating wound healing is another area of ​​interest.
